Thaakat Foundation's Emergency Appeal for

Zakaat

Since 2012 we have worked to provide an education to the most vulnerable children in the country of Pakistan. These children live in and around the city’s largest landfill in Karachi, Pakistan. Many of their parents are waste pickers and have struggled with the effects of generational poverty. A large majority of those we serve are from minority backgrounds, further compounding their plight.
