Pakistan is facing one of its worst natural disasters in decades. According to reports from BBC and Al Jazeera, record-level flooding has displaced more than 250,000 people, marking the largest disaster the country has experienced in nearly 40 years.

Rivers are overflowing at historic levels, leaving families stranded without food, clean water, or safe shelter. Health officials are warning of rising cases of scabies and diarrhea in overcrowded relief areas, underscoring the urgent need for medical support.

In response, our teams are redirecting all resources toward immediate disaster relief in Punjab, Karachi, and KPK.

WHAT ABOUT LONG TERM?

Once the water recedes there will be a need for rebuilding housing.

At this point, many relief agencies will have left the area and villagers will need our support. We will be working with our on ground team, Idara Al Khair to start rebuilding and working on provisions of livestock, food, seeds and farming opportunities that was once their livelihood.

Please help us meet our goal of $50,000 to help rebuild communities in Dadu. We will continue to also survey areas in KPK and Tharparkar and will update the campaign in real time.
